LAUMAR COMPUTERS INC. HARDWARE WARRANTY INFORMATION

GENERAL WARRANTY AND HARDWARE POLICY
Retail Box Warranty Policy
All Boxed Retail products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, unless otherwise specified.
(Boxed Cpu – Mboard – Hdd 3 yrs )
The word Warranty signifies a “defect “of an item, while being used under the manufacturers guidelines.
Warranty does not cover any damage resulting from abuse, misuse, or modification of the product. The Manufacturer
reserves the right to repair or replace defective products as they find it appropriate.
Hardware with damage caused by clogged Cpu fans,Power surges,brown-outs, spikes or other Power related issues
are not to be considered “Defective”.
In case of a dispute, the Manufacturer reserves the right of final disposition.

CUSTOM BUILT SYSTEM SOLUTIONS
The word “System” signifies an In-house totally built and assembled Solution that includes the purchase and installation
of a legal copy of a Microsoft O.E.M. operating system by OUR STORE.
All Custom Built Systems carry 1 yr NO CHARGE shipping & LABOUR REPLACEMENT COST on ANY MANUFACTURER APPROVED WARRANTY CLAIM.
( USUAL TURNAROUND PERIOD IS 7 TO 10 DAYS ( average, although it can take longer depending on situation )
Any item that carries a manufacturer’s warranty longer than one-year,can be sent for RMA to its Vendor for replacement by the user , in order to avoid cost of LABOUR
Laumar Computers Inc. may choose IF ASKED ,to act as an intermediary between client and manufacturer on any legal warranty
claims that exceed the original specified in-house 1 year period. This service is for the shipping of client prepaid
freight only, and it does not include any labour related services.

RMA POLICY (return merchandise authorization)
Laumar Computers Inc. will only be held responsible for configuring Hardware and Software used in complete system purchases.
Laumar Computers Inc. does not warrant products to be error-free or compatible with other products, unless product has
been pre-configured by Laumar Computers Inc.
EXCHANGES due to defect on over-the-counter sale of parts, only applies to the first (30) days of purchase.
For RMA procedure on any items exceeding the original 30 days, Client is to contact Manufacturer for direct RMA information.

OVER THE COUNTER PARTS RETURN POLICY
Hardware items returned within ten (10) days from date of invoice are eligible for
Refund or exchange, provided they are in their original sealed package and untampered with( used ), If in doubt on compatibility,
client can ask any of our sales ASSOCIATES or technicians for their opinion PRIOR to purchasing.
ORIGINAL INVOICE must also accompany ALL product returns.
Media Products ( cdr,dvd media ) such as any SOFTWARE and ELECTRICAL PARTS ,are non-refundable and are purchased SOLELY at clients own risk.
Refunds over the amount of $100.00 will be dealt with in the manner of company cheque PAYABLE TO ORIGINAL CLIENT ONLY.
Credit Card refunds will only be issued to the same credit card with which the purchase was made.
All returned NSF cheques are subject to a $25 processing fee.

SERVICE DEPARTMENT UPGRADES
All parts used in upgrades in our Service Department,are all certified NEW ,(unless client authorized otherwise ),
carry a one-year parts and 30 days labour warranty.

On-SITE TRUCK DISPATCHED EMERGENCY SERVICES
On site service is available on a per instance basis for a fee of $50.00 per hour.

DATA RECOVERY SERVICES
Data Recovery can be an expensive procedure. Any client will be charged a $50.00 Minimum Bench charge.
Laumar Computers cannot GUARANTEE the successful recovery of client;s Data.
Prior to any servicing by the client,the backing up of important data should be performed .
